Terms of Service
Effective 17 July 2026
These terms govern your use of BlaqueSoul Studio. They're written to be readable — the plain-English licensing summary on our Pricing page is part of the picture too.
1. The service
- BlaqueSoul Studio is an AI music creation platform focused on Afrobeats, Amapiano, Afro Gospel, and related genres. Features include song generation, lyric writing, covers, extensions, stem separation, a community feed, and a beat marketplace.
- By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.
2. Your account
- You must provide accurate information, keep your password secure, and be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country).
- You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us immediately if you believe it has been compromised.
3. Credits, subscriptions, and refunds
- Creating music consumes credits. Credit costs are shown in the studio before you confirm each action.
- Paid plans (Creator and Studio) renew monthly through Stripe and include a monthly credit allowance. You can cancel any time via the billing portal; your plan remains active until the end of the paid period.
- If a generation fails on our side, the credits for that job are automatically refunded to your wallet. Credits have no cash value and are not redeemable for money.
4. Your content and license to us
- You keep ownership of the prompts, lyrics, and audio you upload. You grant us the limited license needed to operate the service — to store, process, and (only when you publish something) display your content.
- You must have the rights to any audio you upload. Do not upload recordings you don't own or have permission to use.
5. Rights to generated music
- Free plan: generated tracks are for personal, non-commercial use.
- Creator and Studio plans: while your subscription is active and paid, we grant you a worldwide, non-exclusive, transferable license to use, reproduce, distribute, perform, and monetize audio you generate — including distribution to streaming platforms. Tracks generated during a subscription keep their commercial license after it ends; new generations revert to personal use.
- AI outputs are not guaranteed to be unique, and we cannot promise exclusivity over any generated sound.
6. Public content and the marketplace
- Posting a track to the Vibe Feed makes it publicly visible and playable, including on public listening pages and potentially the BlaqueSoul homepage. You can make it private again at any time.
- Listing a beat on the marketplace offers other users a license on the terms of that listing in exchange for credits. Completed license purchases are final.
- You are responsible for the content you publish. We may remove public content that breaks these terms.
7. Acceptable use
- Don't use the service to create content that is illegal, infringes others' rights (including impersonating real artists' voices), or is intended to harass or harm.
- Don't attempt to break, overload, scrape, or reverse-engineer the service, resell access, or evade credit accounting.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Where reasonable, we'll warn you first.
8. Disclaimers and liability
- The service is provided "as is". We work hard to keep it fast and reliable, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted availability or that outputs will meet your expectations.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
9. Changes and contact
- We may update these terms as the service evolves; material changes will be announced on this page and, where appropriate, by email. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept them.
