Privacy Policy
Effective 4 September 2026
This policy explains what information BlaqueSoul Studio ("we", "us") collects when you use blaquesoul.studio, why we collect it, and the choices you have. The short version: we collect what we need to run the studio, your music is private unless you choose to publish it, and we don't sell your data.
If you sign in with Google, section 2 sets out exactly what we receive from your Google account, what we do with it, where it is stored, who it is shared with, and how to delete it.
1. Information we collect
- Account information: your email address and, if you set one, a password (stored as a secure hash — we never see or store your plain password). If you sign in with Google instead, we hold your Google account identifier and email address rather than a password; section 2 covers that in full.
- Profile information you choose to add: display name, studio name, bio, location, website, and avatar image.
- Content you create: song prompts, lyrics, generated audio, cover art, uploaded reference audio, stems, personas, genres, sessions, collections, and marketplace listings.
- Billing information: subscriptions and purchases are processed by Stripe. We store your plan, subscription status, and credit balance — your card details never touch our servers.
- Usage information: standard technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) and privacy-friendly page analytics used to keep the service reliable and improve it.
2. Signing in with Google
- Signing in with Google is optional. You can use BlaqueSoul Studio with an email address and password instead, and nothing on this page changes if you never use Google.
- What we ask Google for: two scopes only — “openid” and “email”. That gives us your Google account identifier, your email address, and whether Google has confirmed you own that address. We do not request the “profile” scope, so we do not receive your name or your profile picture.
- What we never receive: we have no access to Gmail, Google Drive, Google Contacts, Google Calendar, Google Photos, or any other Google product or service. We never see your Google password. The sign-in token Google issues is verified on our server and then discarded — it is never stored and never sent to your browser.
- How we use it: solely to sign you in. Your Google account identifier is stored so we can recognise you next time; your email address identifies your BlaqueSoul account and receives account email such as password resets and billing notices. We use Google user data for no other purpose.
- How we store it: your Google account identifier and email address are held in our own database on our own infrastructure, transmitted only over encrypted connections (HTTPS), and reachable only by the small number of people who operate the service.
- How we share it: we do not sell, rent, transfer or disclose Google user data to anyone. To be specific, it is not passed to our AI music partners, to Stripe, to our analytics provider, or to any other third party. The only exception is where we are legally compelled to disclose it.
- AI and machine learning: we do not use Google user data to develop, improve, train, or fine-tune any artificial intelligence or machine learning model, whether our own or anyone else's, and whether personalised or generalised. Music generation uses only the prompts, lyrics and audio you provide — never data obtained from Google.
- Deleting it: you can disconnect Google or delete your account at any time by contacting [email protected]. Deleting your account removes your Google account identifier and email from our systems, and you can also revoke our access from your Google Account at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
- Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
3. How we use your information
- To operate the studio: generating music from your prompts, storing your library, managing credits and subscriptions, and delivering features like stem separation and the marketplace.
- To process music generation, your prompts and settings are sent to our AI music partners. Reference audio you upload for covers is shared with those partners solely to fulfil your request.
- To secure the service: authentication, fraud prevention, and abuse detection.
- To communicate with you about your account — password resets, billing, and important service changes.
- We do not sell your personal information.
4. What is public
- Private by default: your songs, uploads, and library are visible only to you.
- If you post a track to the Vibe Feed (making it public), its title, cover art, audio, lyrics, genre, and your display name become publicly visible — including on a public listening page and potentially the BlaqueSoul homepage — and may be indexed by search engines.
- Your public artist profile (display name, avatar, bio, follower counts, and public tracks) is visible to anyone with the link.
- Beats you list on the marketplace are publicly browsable. You can unpublish content at any time and it will leave public surfaces as they refresh.
5. Storage and third parties
- Your content and account data are stored on our own infrastructure. Audio and images are stored in our media storage and served via our CDN.
- We rely on a small set of processors to run the service: Stripe (payments), our AI music generation partners (creating your songs), Cloudflare (networking and content delivery), and our analytics provider (aggregate usage).
- These providers receive only what they need to perform their function. None of them receives data obtained from your Google account — see section 2.
6. Cookies
- We use a single essential authentication cookie (httpOnly) to keep you signed in. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
7. Your rights and choices
- You can edit your profile, unpublish public tracks, and delete individual songs at any time from the studio.
- You can request a copy of your data or full deletion of your account and content by contacting [email protected]. We will action verified requests within 30 days.
- If you signed in with Google, you can also revoke our access at any time from your Google Account at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Revoking access stops future Google sign-ins; to remove the data we already hold, ask us to delete your account.
- You can cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal; access continues until the end of the paid period.
8. Data retention & security
- We keep your account data while your account is active. Deleted content is removed from the live service immediately and from backups on their rotation schedule.
- We use industry-standard measures — encrypted transport (HTTPS), hashed passwords, httpOnly session cookies, and least-privilege access — to protect your data, including data obtained from your Google account.
9. Children
- BlaqueSoul Studio is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their data.
10. Changes & contact
- If we make material changes to this policy we will update this page and, where appropriate, notify you by email.
- Questions or requests: [email protected]
